Smoky Mountain Quilt Studio Retreats:
Retreats are a fun and great way to make new friends! Our last two retreats were in January and February and we had such a great time! Our January small group retreat included 12 quilters and our February large retreat took 24 ladies for a weekend of fun, food and quilting!!!
Jan 2010 Studio Retreat
We offer both Studio group and private group retreats.
Group Studio Retreats:
Studio group retreats allow you to meet other quilters and make new friends.
Studio group retreats require a minimum of 8 quilters, all with private twin beds. Max allowed is 32 quilters and would include both bottom and top bunkbed occupancy. First-come, first-serve will be given choice of bed preferences.
Cost is$125.00 per person from Friday 3:00 pm check-in, to Sunday checkout at 11:00 am.
Cost includes sewing room for machines, two to a table. Bring your own sewing machine, supplies and fabrics. Dinners are included, but bring your own breakfast and lunch or visit one of the nearby restaurants. Guided visits to a local quilt store are provided. Dollywood Amusement Park and other area attractions are additional costs.
Private group retreats are for your group only. Details and cost are same as Studio Group retreats.
Small Group retreats are a minimum of 6 retreaters and a max. of 11 ladies, all with private twin beds. Small group retreats are 30 minutes from Gatlinburg, Tn at the base of the Smoky Mountains. Cost is $100.00 per person for 2-day stay. You provide own meals in fully equipped kitchen.
For 3, 4 and 5 night stays, cost is an additional $50.00 per person, per night.
All retreats require a $50.00, non-refundable deposit per person. Please allow for 3-6 months in advance to make reservations.
High season (October-November) prices vary and will be approx. 30% higher than the above rates.
Fall 2010 Studio Retreat:
Our next Studio retreat is in the planning stage and will be held September 17-19, 2010. Space is still available, mostly for top bunks.
All large group retreats are held in Pigeon Forge, outside of the Smoky Mountain National Park and next to Dollywood Amusement Park.
