Baby Quilts:
Baby quilts by the dozens are available, ranging in price from $45.00 each, to $350.00. Most are available in the $75.00 range and are created by Debbie in simple quilt designs. More elaborate designs are available at higher prices. Other quilts made by local area quilt artists are also available in a range of prices. Most are on display.

Custom Quilts:

Inaddition to our Longarm machine top-quilting services, we stay very busy making custom quilts for her clients. Many clients will commission a quilt to be made as a gift for a loved one. While any design is available, less expensive quilts have simple designs such as the 9-patch, Debbie’s Ditzy 9-patch and the star patch. These quilts are typically 12″ blocks and do NOT include lattice work. An edge-to-edge design is top-quilted into the quilt.
NOTE: Customer must ALWAYS provide the fabric for a custom-made quilt. You may choose from fabrics available in our shop, or you can bring us the fabrics. We will only tell you the amounts of what you need for us to make your quilt, after you choose a design and size. There is a huge variety in fabric qualities and prices and it is impossible for us to know your likes and dislikes, so we are sorry to say we cannot deviate from this policy.
For more time-consuming patterns please include an additional 25—45% increase in the prices below. At the present time, all quilt-making projects have an approx. completion date of 5-7 weeks and require a 25% deposit, with balance due upon completion of quilt.
On AVERAGE, for a SIMPLE DESIGN like those mentioned above, the cost of making a quilt is:
Baby = 58” x 58” = $200.00 to $220.00 + tax
Throw = 58” x 75” = $225.00 to $245.00 + tax
Wall = 75” x 75” = $275.00 to $325.00 + tax
Twin/Full = 75” x 92” = $325.00 to $375.00 + tax
Queen = 75” x 109” = $400.00 to $450.00 + tax
Lg.Queen = 92” x 92” = $425.00 to $475.00 + tax
King = 92” x 110” = $525.00 to $600.00 + tax
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE COST OF FABRIC.

Furniture…Furniture…Furniture!
So what’s up with a quilt store selling furniture? Knoxville’s Smoky Mountain Quilt Studio is owned by the same family who own Goodwood Furniture in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a result, anything available to Goodwood Furniture, is available to the Quilt Studio.
Many available items that our quilting sisters enjoy purchasing are pieces like quilt curios, quilt stands or wall mounts, pantries, jelly cabinets, barrister bookcases and cutting islands. These pieces have assisted quilters in storing fabric, supplies and quilts.

Goodwood Furniture is a retailer for approx. eight to ten manufacturers of all-wood, NO particle board furniture. While much of the furniture is finished or painted, many of the pieces are unfinished. Goodwood does not ship to other locations, but many of our customers come from within a 400 mile radius to pick-up. Go to www.goodwoodknox.com and click on any of the manufacturer links. Each link will have a complete catalog of items available. Included will be pictures, dimensions and wood types. Call Goodwood Furniture at (865) 693-9199 during their regular business hours of Monday thru Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for prices. Orders can be accepted by phone. All orders require a 50%, non-refundable deposit.
Or, better yet, come by our showroom. While the range of approx. 15,000 furniture pieces in the catalogs is not available to see firsthand at the showroom, you will see a mix of each line to judge the quality for yourself. All pieces on the floor are for sale and NOT floor models. Ranges of stains for finishing, or a limited number of paints are available, all for an additional fee by our professional finishing shop.
