About Us

Smoky Mountain Quilt Studio was established in April of 2006. Owner Debbie Farnsworth has been an avid quilter since the 1980’s and teacher since the 1990’s. Her personal love is for all things concerning Appliqué. She also enjoys rug hooking, cross-stitching and reading. Retired from their furniture store in 2017, Debbie and her husband, Dave, spend time on their mini-farm gardening, traveling out West in their RV, trips to the beaches of South Carolina and Alabama and spending time with their four children and five grandchildren who also live in Knoxville.
